Find answers to common questions about how Kiindmate works.
The match percentage shows how compatible you are with a companion based on five factors. The more you have in common, the higher the percentage — making it easier to connect from the very first visit.
Shared interests & activities
Activities and hobbies you both enjoy — walking, board games, cooking, crafts, and more.
Personality & energy
Whether you prefer relaxed company, lively conversation, storytelling, or quiet presence.
Proximity
How close the companion is to your location and whether they serve your area.
Languages spoken
Languages you both speak — especially helpful for clients who are more comfortable in their first language.
Availability preferences
Whether your preferred times (mornings, afternoons, evenings, full days) overlap with the companion's schedule.
Pet-friendly
Whether you both are comfortable around pets.
Scores are capped at 99%. The percentage goes up as you complete more of your profile — so the more you share, the better your matches become.
It usually means your profile is incomplete. Add your preferred activities, the languages you speak, your personality preferences, and your availability. The more detail you provide, the more accurately we can match you.
Absolutely. The match score is a guide, not a gate. You can browse, message, and book any companion regardless of the percentage. Some of the best connections happen outside the numbers.
Yes. If you update your profile or a companion updates theirs, the score will recalculate next time you view their profile.
It's a breakdown of exactly what's driving your match percentage — showing the specific shared interests, languages, vibe preferences, and availability that you and the companion have in common. It's there so you feel prepared and have something to talk about before your first visit.
Every companion completes identity verification and a full background check through our screening partner before they can accept any bookings. No exceptions.
It means the companion has been background-checked and verified by Kiindmate. Only companions who have passed screening display this badge.
You can report or block any companion directly from their profile. Our team reviews every report. If you need immediate help, contact local emergency services.
Browse or search for companions, open a profile you like, and tap 'Book Now'. Pick your date and time, confirm the details, and you're set. You can also start with a 30-minute intro visit to see if it's a good fit first.
An intro visit is a 30-minute meeting for $15, designed for first-time meetings. It gives you and the companion a low-commitment chance to connect before committing to a full booking.
Yes. You can cancel through the app. Cancellations made with enough notice receive a full refund. Late cancellations (within 24 hours) are refunded at 50% per our cancellation policy.
You'll be prompted to leave a review for your companion. Reviews help other families make informed decisions and help great companions stand out.
Your payment is authorized when you book and captured when the companion checks in for the visit. If the visit doesn't happen, no charge is made.

Yes. You'll have the option to add a tip at checkout after your visit.
